Default Hey Yall

Hey everybody,

Glad to see there is a CBR forum! I am on numerous Cummins Diesel forums but now that I am picking up a new bike tomorrow, time to join another!

I have road dirt bike and supermotos my whole life. I just sold my last bike, a 2002 Yamaha WR supermoto and decided it is time to get a CBR. Tomorrow I am picking up a 2006 CBR 600rr. Has around 5,000 on the bike.

anything I need to know about these bikes?

Glad to be here.

Yes, you need to know these bike have a serious problem inherent in their design ... quite simply they are too brilliant!!

Welcome to the forums Chris!! :-)

Seriously I dont think you can go wrong with any late CBR especially one with such low miles, make sure it looks right and not damaged or scuffed liked its been down on its side and that the engine sounds good without rattles and its hard to pick a bad one!!

Good luck!!

Hope you enjoy your stay and be safe!! :-)

Well I picked the bike up around ten this morning, have been riding since about 3pm and it started to rain so I decided to stop as it was my first day on the bike...love the bike and everything about it. It was ridden very easy by the original owner! He used it to joy ride on Sunday's and that is about it.

I will be sure to check in if I have any question's at all!

Thanks for the warm welcome.
