Welcome to the forum.

What are you looking for in a bike? We need more info to help you pick one out.

Don't expect anyong to let you test ride, but if you can, test sit as many as you can. The ergos pay a big part in what bike you should buy.

Welcome to the board! I would do a quick look under each bike topic and look under what people are saying. See what some problems are that people come up with. Just do you homework and I'm sure you can narrow it down to what you want in a bike. As for looking at one I came across you could do a test ride IF you bring the total amount in cash. It all matters in the owner. Have fun looking and look at lots... they are all different.

Just make sure you dont get a 1K if its your first bike ever...its not a smart move....LOL...and keep in mind too...that riding a motorcycle is a physical workout and you are going to get sore muscles the first time out...so if something feels uncomfortable on the show room.....its gonna be worse on the road....so go for comfort then go for looks....not to sound like an *** or anything...but Hondas arent built for everyone.......

lots of bikes are good start bikes.

def go sit on a few though before u decide on one because some are more comfortable and some may fit u better than others.

If you are looking at a new bike, you can't go wrong with a CBR600F4I. For a used bike, I would look at the 600F3, 600F4, or 600F4I. I had a CBR600F3 for my second bike, and wish I started with it over the GSXR750 that I had for my first bike.

Just a thought.

another good piece of advice, if you want a starter bike, a 500 is a super place to start at. they're cheap, common, and easy to fix when they do break/get dropped or laid down.

a 600 is an ok first bike, you just have to respect the power of it. 1000s, and 900s arent such great bikes for beginners, considering the MASSIVE power they make, and how easy it is to F yourself up on one.
