Hey , new to the forum
Just picked up this bike about three months ago , 02 f4i just trying to learn as much as I can about bikes I was big into cars so I wanted something new. Have been researching changing my sprockets and chain, exhausts and power commanders. Any helpful comments would be sweet thanks.

Welcome to the forum that a nice bike you picked up. We have a great F4i section with a ton of member that are very knowledgeable. Post up your questions comments and concerns there and you are sure to get the answers you need. We also have a great regional section that's poppin in riding season but you can check it out now to meet up with some of our great members.

Welcome to the CBRF Dae-rock
Yer , swapping out sprocket can achieve a number of things ...
Really depends on what you want out of your bike ?
Some guys drag there bikes , some only cruise on them , some are bloody nut cases in the mountains ....to a degree, the sprockets that you choose will determine what you bike is good at ..
What are you looking at trying to improve on yours ? take off speeds ? top end ? mid range ? or higher fuel mileage...
Personally , I recon re gearing is over rated unless you are one hell of a rider that needs to extract more from the power range on your bike now ....
EG /
I mean , whats the point of gearing down for more acceleration if you do not ride her flat out now ? and BTW ..we are hoping that you do not ride like a mad man on public roads ??
anyway ...take care and as the guys said ...get yu **** over into the F4i forum for way more detailed answers ...

Thanks for the welcomes, I have been reading alot, some people seem to love the re-gearing some not so much, then you need a speedo healer and what not. Just looking to do something different things. I love to have fun on the bike at the right times, I want to be around long enough to ride it . I'm also looking for some good sites to order from, I mainly have gone to sport bike track gear. I'm sure I will find more as I read but if anyone has a favorite , do share.
