Be sure to browse thru the new-member and how-to ride sections. They'll give you a lot of info on maintaining both you and your bike.

If you haven't done it yet, check out the MSF (Motorcycle Safety Foundation) for a rider course in your area. Helps both your brain and your insurance. ;-)

Another thing I'd encourage you to do, get the gear! Not just a helmet... gloves, jacket, pants and boots. They have some really boffo stuff for women now. You can
be safe and still look good doing it (check the lady's forum for some ideas/answers on that front).

Jesus - i'm late to the show. You take one little trip to Miami and you miss all the fun.
