Default Hey everyone, completely new here

This is the first bike i've ever owned. never had a permit, license, or anything. dont know much about bikes but i've always wanted one. so sadly i'll be asking alot of dumb questions... lol just please bear with me. its a 95 cbr 900 rr fireblade. bad pic but its all i currently have.. its flat black at the moment, but it'll be white when im done. also, whats the difference, if any, between a 900 rr and a 900 rr fireblade?

I believe a fireblade is what they call the 900 rr in other countrys. In the USA they call them 900 rr's. I don't know if there is a difference other than emissions and color schemes. I had a 1995. I loved it and miss it very much. If anybody else knows the difference please correct me.

Welcome aboard Grimmz! So where are you located?

Did you get your license yet?

I recommend taking the MSF Course to learn basics, technique, & safety. Once you successfully complete the course, you can take your certificate to the DMV for your license.

Motorcycle Safety Foundation course. Good info here... Motorcycle Safety Foundation .

The MSF course substitutes (in most places) for the written & riding portion of the DMV test. Once you complete the course successfully, you'll get your certificate - which you take to your DMV. You present the certificate & they present you a license. :-) Plus, you'll let a little discount on your insurance for taking the course as well.
