Hey Everybody!
What's up everyone! I signed up with the site a little while ago, but never got a chance to introduce myself or fine tune my profile. Anywho, I'm actually a new rider. I bought my first bike ('02 600 CBR F4I) a few months ago, and actually taught myself to ride. I've found my new habit!!!
A belated welcome aboard. Check for an MSF Basic Rider Course in your area. I know you said that you taught yourself but sometimes that's not always the right way. Before you get too used to doing things a certain way let the MSF instructors show you some things that may save your hide on the road.
I'd been riding for over 35 years before I signed up for an MSF course. I thought it was a great learning experience and I'm glad I took it. Depending on what insurance company you have you may even qualify for a discount on your insurance after you pass the course.
