Hey All! New Rider From C.A.
Hi Everyone,
My name is Mark, I'm 20 and I am a completely new rider, living in Southern California (LA County, Downey to be exact).
Other than the 16 hour California Motorcycle Safety Foundation courses, I have a total of 12 miles riding experience (so far)
I've been in love with the sport since about 16 after my Uncle temporarily lived with my family when he moved from MA -> CA, parking his R1 and my Aunt's Ninja 250r in my garage.
I'm really looking forward to learning A LOT from this community and hopefully, In the end I'll be a better, more skillful and SAFE rider.
Well that's the gist of it, here's a picture of my bike, my parents helped me get it on March 1st as an early 21st Birthday gift (March 17th)

Welcome aboard Mark!
Congrats on getting your new bike & happy birthday! :-)
Kudos for taking the safety course! Myself & others here are firm believers in the solid foundation that the safety courses provide in learning riding basics & safety.
You sound like you have a level head on your shoulders & are approaching riding & safety in a responsible manner. Continue w/ that process & you'll do well.
Good to have you w/ us.
