Hey
Hey I'm Jake and I have a addiction anything with a motor in it. I'm 24 and currentlyfinishing school so I can become a cop. I love working on anything mechanical, I like stripping stuff down and rebuilding it and tweaking it. Enough about me heres my toys
1990 CBR600, I bought it off my brothers friend, I ride everyday, about 200-250miles a week. I love this bike, handles great, very quick, and gets great milage. Had about 15k on it when I firstgotit afew months ago,I put about 6k on it since then.I just put the side fairings back on due to the cool weather coming, I think I like it more without the fairings though

Heres my other toy, my first motorcycle, a 1980 Honda CB750. I got it for free off my dads friend cause he couldn't get it running right. I readjusted the valves and rebuilt the carbs and she ran great. After that I decided to turn into a cafe racer, then I damaged the cam, shim, and valve bucket doing the valve adjustment again. I took her apart and decided to completely redo the whole bike and make her into a street fighter/cafe racer with modern front end, rear end. I've been working on her slowly, but mainly I've been working on other projects. I'm pretty close to done, but everytime I get ready to button her up, I find something else different I can do, lol neverending really. Anyways heres some pics of that
Original
Cafe racer
and her current state
And lastly my baby, a 1972 Oldsmobile 442, had her since highschool. I saved up all through school so I could buy her. Had lots of fun, used to street race alot with her. She has a Olds 350, auto with 3.73 rear gears. I drove her everyday untill earlier this year when I blew the tranny. I have some work done to this engine, the original engine I had alot of work done and I'm currently rebuilding that too. Right now I'm just rebuilding the tranny and suspension and doing some body work. I'll have her back on the road for spring cruising.
Well sorry for the long *** post, but I love my babys and I like talking about them haha

The 600 is a nice ride ... a good choice Allot of guys like the naked look ..I recon it gives them a real neat mechanical look ...although I am not into the naked stuff myself ..
You take care and stay rubber down ..ok

RE: Hey
Thanks all, I'm acctually from nj, moved here a couple years ago, but the area I grew up in was way more redneck. I just don't tell anyone around here that cause they all think only they can be rednecks haha The fairings are growing on me to tell the truth I would have to find a new inspection cover for the right side though and paint the left side cause its a aftermarket fairing and still black. I was originally going to strip the front and make her a fairingless bike, sigh I don't need this as a project too though haha
