Default Hello From Wisconsin

I'm Paul, and I'm new here. I own an '02 F4i in yellow. 24,000 miles on it and no problems yet. It is plenty fast for me and fairly comfortable as well. Looking for a stock muffler to put on on as the Yosh it a bit loud for my taste.

I also own a '98 VFR800 Interceptor, which I have had for a couple of years now and absolutely love.

Both bikes have been flawless so far.

Welcome Paul!
Keep that can on it. The stock can is big and heavy, and ugly. You'll get used to it sounding good. Other than that, nice couple if bikes you have there.

Great looking split-seat F4i Paul...& nice VFR as well.

I have that same Yoshi exhaust except in CF. Its sounds great on my F4. Wondering if the baffle in yours has been altered or removed. My Yoshi is much quieter than some other cans out there.

Glad you found us & joined. Welcome to CBRF!

Thanks guys. I didn't get to ride as much as I would have liked to this summer. It was too hot most days here in WI. I'm looking forward to a bunch of fall rides in the next month or so.

I'm still not sold on the pipe. It is not incredibly loud, but sometimes I just wish my bike was quiet when its warming up at my apartment complex at 5:30am when I go to work. I've got a few complaints already.

That pipe is not that loud. Noisy neighbors are the price you pay for apartment living... As long as you're not hammering the throttle and being ridiculous, noise is something thats part of life when you choose to live (and probably discounted rent) near a road or parking lot. If your still wanting to be less noisy, it will never be quiet enough for whinny neighbors, get a different can instead of stock.

Well I still think I want a stock pipe to quiet it down. I also just realized that I need a more comfortable seat as well. Any recommendations?
