my name is chris, and this is pretty much my first bike ever,
i've always wanted a bike but never had the courage to get one and start learning but now whether i want to or not, i have the bike and must use it muahaha.... anywho...
The bike from what im told an 01 f4i and bought it from a friend who was planning on putting it together. The story is that this friend bought it from another friend who had dropped the bike, although doesnt look like he wrecked because plastics were just scratched. So this guy decided to take the wiring apart and that is pretty much the only thing keeping me from starting it because i have no idea where some of the connectors go.

My problem areas are on the subframe, and headlight assembly. I apologize if this is the wrong forum for this.

One thing i did notice tho is that although the pink slip states this is an 01, i looked up a picture of a F4i subframe online and the subframe on my bike looks like an F4, am i mistaken somehow?

Congrats on getting a bike. You need to get it running asap!

The F4i had a split-seat subframe 01-03 but back to banana seat in '04-06.
