Default Hello from SoCal

For my first official post on this forum, I just wanted to say hello... Just picked up what is now my second bike, an '89 CBR600F (the first was a Ninja 250, which my buddy wrecked ... Lesson learned :P)... As of right now, it's a work in progress, but I'm definitely looking forward to many more bike-ventures to come...

I'm over in Oceanside... Got a couple of quick pics from my cellphone from about a day after I bought it. The bike looks much the same now, minus the duct tape :P. I just have to find a new upper fairing and windshield then it will be time for some shiny new paint...

Oceanside in nice. i'm just a little bit north of you. estate is just north of me. there are a few of us socal riders around here. i'm surprised that with all the bikes around here, and 9+ months of great riding weather, that there aren't many more of us on this forum. their loss.

get that bike running and let's ride!

Do intend to... Just got some minor stuff to handle for now, and the end of the riding season I will tear down and rebuild the bike, so i get to start the new season with a fresh, shiny bike

There's no "end of the riding season" in socal. We understand tho.

U got that right gotcbr...ain't ending here in SoCal...year round if some of us ride wet...no snow here.

I think he wants to hibernate his bike to reload & gear up before showing...it off.... Exciting project! And do post pics of ur progress...
