Hello from Philly
Hey, so i guess i'm new. I've visited this forum a lot and figured i'd join and try to contribute. Currently i don't own a CBR, but love everything about them, and will have one in my close future. I currently am motorcycle-less because my Kawasaki died, and i've been riding my brothers Triumph Speed Four. I'm in my third year of College, and i live in the Philadelphia area. Ok

Welcome to CBRF!! Lots of PA riders in here and three of us just welcomed you to the party. Good luck in your quest for a CBR and don't be afraid to ask us tons of questions so we can help you make a the best decision and pick the right one for you. Sorry about your Kawi, but rockin' a Triumph doesn't sound all that bad to me ...lol.

Thank you all for the greetings! I'm currently just shopping around nothing special. I like the 01+ CBR F4I's in particular. I had a Kawasaki Ninja 250 die on me. Before you start giggling at my moped of a motorcycle, it was an agreement i had with my parents. My first motorcycle would be of their choosing. They chose a Ninja 250. If anyone is selling a CBR in the area of Philadelphia or in decent driving range please let me know.
@Kuroshio i actually attend Drexel University but i live in Northeast Philadelphia, in the area around Red line Road and the Boulevard.

I actually think it's pretty cool that your parents picked a Ninja 250. Smart folks, I'd say...
Plus, they didn't pick an ugly/goofy lookin' 250 for you to have to ride....
They could have made you get a "Kung Fu Cruiser"
So you go to Drexel, eh? That's where my sister works. Well, I think she just quit, actually....LOL...
She's a Dr. at the college of medicine in neurobiology and anatomy.
Wish you luck finding a nice CBR, man. I like the F4is a lot, too.

Thanks man! I'm a Computer/Electrical Engineering student, in my third year. It's a tough school, but it's nice during the summer. Especially when my brother is feeling generous and lets my take the Triumph out for a spin. The 250 wasn't really as bad as people make it seem. It was just unfortunate that it died on me. I'm in the process of selling it right now, but in no hurry to get rid of it. Thanks for the input!

The F4is are going for stupid prices here on the East Coast. Have to look hard to find a good deal. What's your budget?
There's another blue one in SW Philly on CL right now for $4800. Says 1500 miles
