Hello from NE Ohio CBR250r
Thanks. Yes, the cbr250r is my first bike. No, I did not take a MSf course but I did view it on Youtube prior to taking my first ride on a my motorcycle. I had a manual car for 7 years so it only took me less than 5 minutes to learn how to shift on a motorcycle. Riding a scooter for a year helped me get acclaimated to riding on two wheels on the street.
It has been a great experience thus far and hopefully by next year I will be moving up to a bigger bike, possibly a cbr600rr. From my understanding the cbr600rr is thee best super sport bike for street next to the gixxer. If the rumors are true and they come out with a cbr400r next year that could be a possible choice, however I may have a cbr600r by then.

I like the review you did. those seem like nice bikes. have only heard good things about them.. Im also in Ohio down close to Cincinnati. if your down this way we should get a group ride together sometime
Thanks everybody. Yeah it's a great lil bike for the cruising I do around town. You can't beat 80 mpg average, 270+ miles on a tank of reg gas (3.4 gal tank). I want to keep this bike for around town and get a second bike, a 600.
@lewisF4i --sounds good.
