Hello CBR Forum,
I have been lurking here for a short time while researching the purchase of an 08 CBR1000RR. After doing research on this and other forums, I decided to buy the bike and stay a member of this forum only. This is the best CBR forum on the net by far.
I also want to express my thanks to Oldnotslow (Pat) for his assistance with my decision to buy this bike. He answered several private messages and gave me valuable insight into this bike.
I have been a rider for many years (45) and the last pure sport bike I owned was a 1990 CBR 1000. I loved that bike and after selling it in 1999, swore I would get another one at some point. So, here I am with my new-to-me 2008 red CBR1000RR and anxiously awaiting the coming of Spring.
