Default hello from montana (missoula)

hey all first post here. this is my first bike(92 cbr 600 f2)had it about 5 years. took it apart cus i moved and had to stick it in the back of my subi. so far plans are put on a subframe with cafe tail (the one in the pic isnt attached). i got a pair of 01 gixxer 750 usd legs that i might use. i think im gonna find a newer zx10 front end cus i hate the gixxer 3 spokes and radial brakes would be nice. gonna try to do a rear swing arm swap. not sure what yet, not a whole lot of info on it for my ole f2. im also a wankel head if any of yall are into that nonsense. anyways im here, try not to hate on the cafe, streetfighter project too much.. peace Name: mybike.jpg

Hey there

I am not normally a fan of modded bikes or heavily modded bikes, I love factory original
but, at least you have had the bike five years and probably had some decent time with her...
so, now you fancy a change ... please keep us all posted of the project and how it's going...

Oh and Welcome to the forums

Hey T.M. Welcome to CBRF!
I used to have a neighbor with some heavily modded RX-7s. When they got wound up they sounded like a bad *** sportbike! Pretty damn quick, too! Or were you referring to the Suzuki rotary engine bike from the '70s? Not a lot of people even remember those, lol.
Either way, keep us updated on your progress, w/ if possible.
Dayem, I just noticed that back sprocket! Stunt much?

I didnt really intend on modifying to much.I purchased it cheap as a wrecked bike with barely anything on it. Ive just upgraded and modified things that needed replacing. The subframe was bent when i bought it, so i took a sawzall to it and im making a new one myself cus i cant afford a strait frame. Fork seals took a dump, scored the usd forks for $50, barely more than new seals. Im really only a rodder cus im poor and i know how to fabricate. Im sure you all will be pleased with the outcome. Im am very meticulous in my ways... youll see :P

man i wish i had a RE-5 i just have a turbo 2nd gen rx7, gettin a new keg for it this winter should be round 350 at the wheel hopefully. that vortex gear is a bit much isnt it. intended on stunting it. havent quite figured out the balence point on it tho and its really heavy and underpowered. switched to a 02 r6 for stuntin, i left the vortex on it cus i converted to a 530 chain, and its fun as hell to buzz around town and rip through the gears and not speed everywhere. its all in good fun
