Thanks everyone for the welcomes! And yes ive already taken the basic rider course ad gotten my endorsement but i would like to take the advanced course sometime soon. I heard it is very helpful. And no worries because as long as i am on that bike a helmet is going to be worn at all times. I have heard way too many horror stories of people riding without one. I am going to be extra careful also seeing that this is my first bike and i went straight to a 1000cc. But i appreciate the tips and advice guys!

I'd probably start with the basic and give it at least a season before yo jump into the advanced.

Helps to have a little seat time under your belt to get the most out of those sort of things.

Congrats on doing it right and getting a beautiful bike
