Default Hello CBR Forum Members....

Heythere...

I'm Jim and from Bowmanville, which isa small communityjust east ofToronto, Canada. I decided this year to get back intomotorcyclingafter about an 8 year break with the purchase of a 2005 CBR 600 F4i which I absolutely love! Previously, I had a VFR750 which I ended up selling once thekidsstarted coming along.
Just finished putting my baby to sleep for the winter and plan on doing a bit of work to it, all mainly cosmetic including installing a Targa seat cowl. Love the comfort of that big banana seat, but yeah it's ugly too! Guess you can have everything now can you? All this in preparation to sell it this spring and move up to either at 929 or 954!

hey Jim and welcome to the forums!! :-)

If you are going to sell the bike anyway come spring and wont be riding it until then I wouldnt be bothered modding it ..just polish her up so shes spick and span and trade it in, most people prefer originality when buying and then do "thier" mods ..it wont make a difference anyway at trade in and just seems a waste to do work just to sell it on

Anyway, hope you enjoy the stay here :-)

Thanks for the welcome and I've actually been riding since I was 16, wowabout 20 years factoring in my break.Started with dirt bikes, so falling didn't hurt that much [:'(]and then moved onto street bikes.

As for modding it over the winter I've trying to balance want a bigger bike or needs a bigger bike..lol. Love my 600, but like to travel with a passenger, so the bigger bike would be nice, but not a necessity.

Looking forward to using the site!

Good looking ride, Jahnny. To display your pictures, just copy the img tag on photobook, and change the beginning IMG to img. Good to have you here.
