Default Hello cbr!

Newbie rider here,

recently took the MSF course and got my license back in April.

I recently purchased this beauty, 2009 cbr 600rr.

This is my first bike and I know the danger for having 600 as my first bike.

That's why I got my jacket helmet gloves already.. boots are coming soon..

Thanks guys. I would appreciate any tips or feedbacks (good/bad) for a newbie rider. Happy New Years!

Welcome to the motorcycle world Kevin.

That is a ton of first bike, but you should be fine as long as you manage the connection between the wrist and ego.

thats a lush looking bike, just take it easy and wear all your gear, get over to the 600rr section to say hello and pick their brains

Welcome to the CBR Forum Kevin,

Yes, All The Gear All The Time (ATGATT) and ride sensibly. Don't let your right wrist get ahead of your ability and you'll do well.

Enjoy riding!

Cheers, SB

Welcome to CBRF! Nothing wrong with a 600rr as a first bike. Just take her easy, stay in the lower to mid rpms until you're beyond comfortable...

AND HAVE FUN!

Hola Kevin!

Welcome to the CBRF.

Sure is a beautiful machine. Gain some pride in it to keep it nice. Become humble to stay alive.

Cheers.

went on for the first ride today. I was just "WOW" on everything from power to this experience.

I was cruising down the street just me and my bike and everything felt in slow motion...

I definitely need to get some pants and boots.. thanks ya'll.
