Default Hello from Canada

Hello Everyone,

First Time Rider, as of 04/28/2023! Grew up around Bikes, and Cars. Always wanted a Street Bike, I really wanted a GSXR600. Purchased my First Bike a 2001 CBR600F4i recently. The Bike was set up as a Stunt Bike, I purchased it from a person who works at the Local Dealership....

My intentions are to restore the bike to its previous form, over time!

Hello & welcome!
really nice & clean bike.. that bike is not setup to be a stunt bike. Whoever owned it for some reason dented the tank (like a stunt tank) but besides that, your bike looks to be completely stock (other then seat covers and paint). I'd just replace the tank and enjoy the bike. I currently own 5 F4i's they are really fun. Let me know if you have any questions about anything. I know almost all there is to know about F4i's

Lol - maybe you can FINALLY put us out of our confusion as to which way the factory diode in the ignition points - with the black stripe aligned with the marks on the housing, or the opposite way around.. ;-)
