Hello All!!!
I'm new to the world of Honda, but have been very interested in the 2007 CBR 600. I have the money to buy a new bike, now I just have to decide which one
Rode a friends 2006 GSX-R 600 a while back and liked it, just didn’t quite like the looks. I have a few questions to ask of you all. First off, when will the 2007 model be available for sale? And secondly, why should I buy a Honda over all the other brands (give me an honest opinion!). Well, just thought I'd say hi and am looking forward to learning some new things and meeting new people!

Welcome.
The 07 RR will be available around April or so (or so I;ve heard). As far as why Honda? Everything is durable and holds up GREAT!!! No problems with having to worry about anything. The only problem they have if anything is usually a CCT which is a pretty easy repair. But. personally, even if I wanted, I would never have another Suzuki. They DONOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT!!! Tanny went out on the Busa (06 mind you) and they wouldnt warranty it. Bull crap!!!! So I got rid of it!!!! Honda is reputable and stands behind what they put out and is built to last a long time!

Welcome,
What drew me to Honda was the reputation for solid engineering solutions, and awesome build quality. Honda is one of the worlds biggest engine builders, and they know how to make a product that will last. Plus, I liked the look more than the others.
Good luck, and enjoy your shopping.

Id say buy what makesU happy...make sure to wear a helmet...keep the shiny side up...do some more research tho...a fool and his money are easily parted...i know im the biggest fool with money..Make sure its what u really want for U..not for the power and the glory that comes with riding a Honda....LOL
Thanks for the replies. It looks like I still have a while to decide and read up a bit more on the specific makes and models... Believe me, I have a lot of research left to do. But when I am spending over $9,000 I want to be sure and make a good choice!! I know what you mean CBRFREEK, I have been pretty bad with money in the past as well and hope to make the right decision this time. I'm sure I will. I have ridden bikes all my life, and always loved street bikes. Came close to buying a couple of used bikes a while back, and thankfully didn't. I can't wait to have my OWN, NEW bike that will be broken in properly and not abused (too much!).
Welcome to the site. I have been around Hondas all my life and they really do make a quality product. Whether its a car, bike, ATV, or even thier generators. That's what made me buy one instead of another brand.

Welcome to the site.
The '07 600RR is just pure sexiness if you ask me.
I've ridden tons of bikes, and only one time in my 20's did I own a bike that wasn't a Honda. Honda's are legendary for their reliability and quality and I've never had a serious problem with one of them. Do your maintenance and they'll last as long as you want, pretty much.

Thanks for all the replies, it's much appreciated! One of the main reasons I was looking at new bikes and especially the Honda is the reliability. Although the price tag isn't very forgiving, I would much rather have a bike with 0 miles and break it in and take care of it the way I want to (the correct way!). That’s one thing that turned me away from a used model... who knows what the previous owner did to it.
