Default Hello all

Hey everyone! New member, but long time lurker. Just got my second CBR1000F (first one was a modified '94 sold a few years back, this one is a bone stock '93). I'm a big guy, so the big 1000F suits me well. I alllmost picked up an 1100xx instead, but alas, the 1000F just brought back fond memories (and terrifying realizations of my own mortality now that I have my own family, lol). Just wanted to stop in and introduce myself! And anybody in North Central Indiana who likes to group ride, lemme know! Maybe some day I'll get a day out of work and meet some of you fellas! Be safe, and keep your knees in the breeze!

I've always wonderer about that 1000F, my 919 was an excellent bike. Wasn't your bike the previous version?

The 1000f was built from 87-99. It was geared more towards sport touring than the Fireblades. It was replaced by the 1100xx Super Blackbird.
