Default Hello All :)

Just thought I'd take a few minutes to introduce myself. My names Peter and i'm from the Scottish Highlands. I just bought myself a terrible shape little CBR 600 FL for a new project.

The bike came with an old fzr750 front end so first step was to bin that and put on something a little better:

So before i start a rebuild thread here I'll say hello and off I go to the fl section to see about the no spark issue

Welcome o the CBR Forum Peter,

And thanks for posting the pictures of your new project. Good to see the resurrection. Lots of experience on the forum so feel free to tap into that.

Cheers, SB

welcome, what will you put on for the front end? those inverted fzr forks are already light years above the stock f3 forks.

Welcome to the forum.

What are your plans for it? Fighter, full fairing, or somewhere in between?

The forks in the lower picture are from the RGV250 VJ22, top piccy has the fzr front end which didn't do anything for the bike and thank you for the welcome

When i got the bike the plan was to restore it, but most of parts are missing. so I think Fighter is the way to go.

Welcome and good luck with that. At least building your newest addition creates a great appreciation for it.

Welcome to CBRF! That looks like a nice little project, I like the USD front end! Throw up a build thread in the SF section if you haven't already!
