Cool Hello to all

Hello, I have been riding for a long time but first time joining a forum. I have an 04 CBR 600 RR and a old Kawi that I am building into a chopper. The CBR is probably the best bike I have ever ridden.

My riding notes: Low end torque is not great but once you hit the mid-range the bike comes to life and when you hit the high range around the rev limit it just screams and tears up the road. Wide wheel base makes the bike slow with corner entry but the handling is so superb that you can ring the snot out of the bike mid-corner which makes up for the slow entry speed. Bike is a bit heavy for a 600 but it is not noticeable at all. The 03 and 04 model were built after the GP bike so they it has an aggressive seating arrangement which makes your hands and wrist hurt on longer rides but perfect for the track. Braking is a little soft at times which is probably the biggest downfall of this bike. I am a drifter though so it doesn't bother me but might be annoying for some. 1st gear top speed about 61mph before rev limit is reached, and top speed about 190mph I think but a little fast to be checking my speed.

Upgrades Include: Akrapovic Exhaust, Pazzo Levers, Bridgestone bt-016 tires, Red Line water wetter, T-rex frame sliders, and little things like signals, fender eliminator, smoke screen, and custom grips.

Future plans: Bohemian rear sets with gp shifting, samco sport hose lines for engine cooling, and ss brake lines.

Thanks y'all and keep it on two wheels. Also anyone with same model let me know what has worked for you and what has not worked with bike.

welcome to CBRF! a lot of us here are just into bikes. that's what makes this such a great community. SHOW US THE CHOP! i'd love to see it. my father in law used to have a badass cb750 chopper. and his ltd1000 was awesome too, though it wasn't really all that customized.

and definitely put pictures up of your 600rr too.
