hello juliet i have a cbr 600f 1994 but had some gearing problems lately no 4th gear at all so have done a engine transplant but having a spot of trouble with the cooling system as stated in my forum the engine i have put in is a newer engine than mine can u help

I have no experience of swapping the engines between these bikes ..only thing I can think of is carb heating between early and late models?? .. coolant was routed through the carbs to stop them icing up in winter .. I can scan pages from the manuals I have both
