Default Hello

Hi,
I'm considering getting an 07 or 08 CBR 600. I mostly want to use this as a part time street bike, but mostly my track bike.
I currently ride an 07 Ducati 1098. I could use that for the track, but I'm too paranoid about possibly crashing it.
Honda parts are a bit less expensive I'm sure.
Anyway, I've been reading all the great press on the little CBR and it sounds like fun!

Good Choice for a track bike/street bike! If you're thinking about tracking it, I would personally try and save myself a couple bucks and go for the '07 model. I know one of the mags ran the '07 600 up against the Ducati, and the gixxer 1k on the track and the '07 600 came in 2nd behind the gixxer. The 1k can be a little much for the track.

All I can say is you will not be dissappointed with that bike

Welcome to the site, you'll enjoy slumming it on a Honda once in a while. When you do get it, I'd be interested if you'd do a write up on a comparison of the two.

I'll let you guys know when I pick it up. I'll probably get the 07 since dealers are giving at least $1000 off MSRP.
Thanks,
