Default Hello

I have been looking for a comfortable Mile muncher for a bit I stumbled across a CBR 1000F 1995.

Looks like it would fit me and the wife with room to spare.

I have a test ride booked tomoz...

Can you guys point out anything I should be aware of heres a link to the add...

HONDA CBR CBR1000 F-S

the mileage seems ok at 21000...

It has been dyno jetted does any one know if this causes problems with fuelling.

Thanks for any help in advance

Looks beautiful - if it starts and rides nice and checks out okay I'd make an offer. At 21,000 she's a baby, and my guess would be it's not overly jetted b/c the stock exhaust is still present- Probably a stage 1 or mild custom, which is fine with a stock exhaust. Keep an eye on the plugs and be on the lookout for an aftermarket exhaust if you want to shed some pounds and a pickup a little more rumble. =)

Hi James, hope it works out for you, the 1000F is a great bike, even two-up.

Let us know how it goes.

Very Nice a bit of rust on the swinger nothing I can't sort over the winter.

Pulls like a train...brakes work well...Nice ridding position and smooth ride..

Seemed to work very well at low revs in High gear so I can chill when ridding...

So I bought it.....

Very happy Gonna strap some luggage on and go away for a few nights camping with the wife.

Welcome to the forum bud. Nice bike, hope it all checks out and she treats you right . Give it a good once over before you head out on it though, check fluids and what not. Never know what kinda shortcuts a PO has or used. Cheers man and get yourself some gear, cover up!! ATGATT.
