Talking Hello

Hi peoples, new here. Don't know where to start, so yea.

I live in regional Australia, was riding a crf250r for many years out and about in the bush and on the trails, had a slight mishap that halted my abilities for a while. I am now new to the road bike scene, Just bought a 1992 CBR250rr (N) from my brother, and I'm taking it on as my project bike. (needs lovings...)

I think that's it... For now

Welcome to the CBR Forum,

So where in regional Oz? Any questions regarding the 250, don't hesitate to ask.

Cheers, SB

Kalgoorlie Western Australia

Just the starters with the bike. No idea when it was serviced last. So it's got new oil and filter. New air filter. I have a new clutch for it also with springs. Got farings to fix. One thing concerning me is oil coming from what seams to be a purpose hole in the head near the exhaust port in the left side of the engine. I thought maybe it was a over flow or something. I bought a full gaskit kit from eBay in preparation that I may have a major problem.

I'm trying to make a list of thinks to pick away at. Like fork seals and bearings, I don't know what I should attack first. Maybe the previously mentioned oil problem.

Cheers

Default Progress

Hello again,
making some progress with the bike, have fitted the new clutch and made a start on the fairings, and i have identified the oil leak in the top end of the engine as a "rocket cover gasket leak", something to do with the spark plugs. the leak is still small so im not to worried about it but do need to track down a gasket for it...

I would love to post some pics but i dont know how..??
