Default Hello

Just wanted to introduce myself here I am located in Tennessee and currently work full time for the Army reserve and raced motocross for seven years before enlisting in the Army. I am now interested in the street rather than the dirt and am looking for a good bike. (I have always been a die hard Honda fan in MX, so I figured that I would be on the street) Anyways nice to be here and I am sure that I will talk with some of you later. Quick question, as an experienced rider (in the dirt) fairly new to the street what in Honda's line up would be a good bike for me? I am really liking these CBR600F4i that I am seeing any help is appreciated.

Welcome to the Board.

I just started on the F4i and I'm loving it. In my opinion the best bike for us beginners that don't want to out grow it in 2 months.

Very well, thanks for the input. I am also curious. What if I find an older 600f4 or 600f3 etc... are these good bikes too? Sorry to be such a noob, but I just do not want to buy a bike here soon and be bored with it shortly there after. What is the difference in all of these bikes? F4i, F4, F3 etc...?

welcome to the site! well among other things, the F4i's are fuel-injected. the F4,F3,F2, etc are carbed. good luck with the search and hope you find one soon

thanks for the heads up. If I found a good older f2 f3 or f4 would I be able to keep it as long as a newer f4i as far as not becoming bored with it? Just curious, I would like a bike asap, and have enough for a mid 90's f3 or so, but i really like the f4i's but as you know they are a bit more. Thanks again..
