Default Greetings from South Florida!

I wanted to share a couple pics of my bike. It is a '99 Honda CBR 600 F4 with a custom paint job. I bought this bike from a friend of mine who laid it down. The bike was initially almost naked when I bought it from him. The frame was in good shape but the bike needed plenty of parts so that it can become street legal again. I spent a good year and a half putting back together. (It would've taken less time if I wasn't on a tight budget.) It's in great condition today and rides real smooth.

I'm still adding more stuff to the bike such as new grips, frame sliders, new tires and Honda CBR decals. I'm a little hesitant to add on the decals because the bike looks great without them. But then again people are mistaken by my bike for Kawasaki or a Suzuki in which I want the ppl to know it is HONDA.

I also have an HID kit and ready to install them. It doesn't seem like an easy job but will be well worth it. I'm also open to any suggestions you have about what other improvements I can do on the bike.

Wow! Great transformation! Glad you didn't go the streetfighter route

I say leave her as is - I think decals would subtract from her.

You have done a very nice job on rehabbing your F4. It looks great.

The Honda gas tank decals would really finish it off w/o needing the other decals (unless you really wanted them). Just make sure that if you apply the tank decals, that you put them in the original location.

Welcome aboard!

Thank you!! It was a great accomplishment to get her back together. Some friends did suggest I go street fighter but I honestly didn't like the idea. I'm gonna hold off on the decals for now but I guess I will eventually add a small but noticeable Honda decal somewhere.

BTW if you notice the rear cowl fairing is a little off. I've been trying to fix that problem and I think it has to do with the seat latch bracket. Would you think so too?
