Default Greetings from the lab

good evening everyone.

i figured i should leave all my projects and introduce myself to everyone. i came into this forum to hopefully get some advice on what to do with a certain machine to possibly figure out any problems that might arise with this creation. i came into possession of a 1993 Honda CBR 900RR and figured this would be the perfect place to get general advice and recommendations on tires and what not when the need arose. its surprising to me that even though this is my first ever sport bike i find myself enjoying it a bit more over my cruiser that was my first step into the motorcycling world a year ago now. it will be greatly appreciated and welcomed any thoughts that you all may have to help me with this beast of a motorcycle and what i should look for as possible downsides to having a older machine

Welcome and thanks for the pics! Glad to hear you are enjoying the bike!

I don't have any particular advice, but regarding tires, I'd suggest thinking about the type of riding you do (or want to do), watch as many comparison vids as you can stomach, and choose from there. Tire tech has gotten so good, you almost can't go wrong, just need to match to your riding style...

My advice is to wash it really well. Clean in places you've not thought of cleaning it before. Detail it!. This helps you get to know the ins and out's of what the bike looks like when everything is working as it should. This knowledge will help you recognize when something isn't right. Then just enjoy the ride.
