Default Greetings from England! Resurrecting my CBR6f2 or f3, at present! Advice welcomed

Hi guys, and greetings from England!

I'm new to the forum, been riding various bikes for 10years now, too many adventures to name, all over, in Philippines, Thailand and few others... but recently having a prob getting my old CBR to startup reliably...

...so figured i'd join this forum! I've already researched similar issues, and have some new ideas, but it aint sorted til its sorted right?
Any help much appreciated, cheers!

Welcome to the CBR Forum Blinky,

It'd be too bl**dy cold to ride in the UK at the minute wouldn't it?

So plenty of time for the repairs!

I'm sure some knowledgeable folk will be along shortly to assist you.

Cheers, SB

Cool, cheers mate. Yup it's pretty frosty over here, but mainly just rain actually. Would love to see some snow here in Bristol (the south)!

I assume youre in the States right? Heard you have snow in many parts right now! I would love to head over there soon, and see a new place, maybe Chicago, Vegas or Florida/New Orleans if i get the time next year!

Ye need to get the bike running as i have no other transport right now! ...even the bus route is a pain in the *** here, ha!

Damn, might be too warm for motorcycles there. That's over 100 F right?

Australia!! Great, i would love to live out there at some point. Melbs or Perth... maybe Sydney, but most of my buds are Melbourne biased ha!

Ive been in Asia, (Thailand, Indo, HK), mainly Philippines for the past 3years (hence why i posted in the forums here)... just came back to my poor sick little CBR. Gave it to my dad to ride when i left, but he rode it a few times then just left it outside sadly... think he dropped it too (hes getting a little old these days, and still just as stubborn!)

Anyways, i travelled all over Philippines on a small kawasaki 135 island to island, for 2 years. So its been a mega adventure! Too many stories to remember hehe... but going through the deep south (Muslim communities), where your embassies tell you not to go (due to kidnappings and shootings etc.), was the MOST fun!
Just kept my skin covered and didnt stick around each place too long.

Thanks guys, its a cool forum
