Default Greetings from Chicago

Whoo-hoo, I finally got cleared!

Name's Peter, I live in Chicago, and I recently bought an '06 Honda CBR600F4i

So...hi! xD

Welcome to the forum Peter

Now that you got the mandatory first spill covered right at the start you can jump straight to getting her back to spotless condition. I trust the damage to the bike or the rider is not significant?

Post some pics and ask any questions, we`re here to help the best we can!

Welcome to the CBR Forum Peter,

Bummer about the bike, but good that you are still around to write about it

As Matti says, post some pics and I'm sure the guys on the forum will be able to assist if only with positive comments and support.

Cheers, SB

Thanks guys. I appreciate the welcome

Damage to both wasn't too bad. Rear brake pedal broke off and I'm down a mirror, but otherwise the bike's fine.

Me, all I got were some scrapes and re-opened gashes (also went down on my Suzuki GS500F about five days prior to the Honda down, so...yeah), but nothing broken or seriously injured

Biggest problems I'm having with the Honda are missing screws for the headlight, some alignment issues with the front brake reservoir rubbing on the fairing mount, and trying to figure out if I can put 1000RR mirrors on the 600 (cause integrated turn signals are awesome)

Well the good news is you've only got a Yamaha and Kawasaki to bin and you've covered the major Japanese manufacturers

Perhaps post your question regarding the mirrors in the relevant 600 section, see if anyone has done it.

Good luck with it!

Cheers, SB

Welcome aboard! I'm in naperville if you ever swing out this way you could stop by. Doesn't sound like to much work is needed to get er back going which is good news.
