Not got my licence yet, but im working on it, should have it by the end of the year.

The bike has 31K miles on it and is in pretty good condition for a 15 year old machine.

Anyway, I'm off to scour the forum for the info i need.

Catch you later.

Nice bike and good luck with your license. Let us know what you need and we may be able to point you in the right direction.

Welcome!

That's looking in very good nick given the age! I'd say to grab some leathers aswell, if you havnt already. I've found they are invaluable given our weather.

Thanks for the welcome.

Yeah I've got all the gear already!

Richa leathers, Sidi boots, Richa summer and winter boots, Caberg helmet, waterproofs, thermals, Hein Gericke winter boots etc!

Bike needs a few things to make it mint, Needs a new fairing in the centre behind the seat and there are some lugs missing and the side fairings dont hold in place properly.

I have a HID kit on order, and will be updating the dash with LEDs whilst i have the fairings off.

I changed the ignition barrel, fuel cap and helmet lock as i had a jumble of keys and replaced with one-key-fits-all.

It's due for a full detailing in the next couple of weeks, possible when i have all the fairings off.

All easyish fixes then :-)

Glad to hear it, I swapped a car for my gear. Still beleive I got the better deal.

The one key idea I never thought of, getting sick of try to start mine with the wrong key all the time.

VERY nice. After the all red 97, yours is probably my favorite F3 colour scheme.

I've always had a soft spot in my heart for F3s. Who knows, maybe one day the wife will let me go out "for milk" by myself again one of these days.

Beautiful bike! I'm not sure if its a US model unless someone added the rear go bar as US models didn't have them. Does it have a centre stand?

Love that paint and stripe pattern tho

Hello I am new too but I have quickly found my niche here I think. There are a lot of people here with a lot of knowledge that goes far beyond motorcycles, so don't be afraid to ask questions and explore. Good to have you. P.s Beautiful bike
