just picked up a 97 cbr600. haven't been ona sports bike for 20 years and forgot how quick they are! my other ride is a harley but finally decided that i needed a better daily commute in peak hour. will no doubt be asking lots of dumb questions starting with locating a service manual .. i'm in sydney tks

Our very own welcome cobber is from Oz. It's good to have you, this is a wonderful place regardless of whether you're a gearhead or just someone who is enthusiastic about riding. Post some pictures when you're able, we eat 'em up!

tks shadow , tks all. that site for manual didn't work for me ...... but i will try later . right now i am like a kid with a new toy ..... the harley remains under its cover and i"m taking the honda out every chance i get ... can't tell you how exciting it is giving the thing a squirt , but then agiain you all know . if i can work out pictures (the instructions will be on this forum)i"ll be sure to post one. ride safe a

Best place to look for spares ,manuals here in Oz is Ebay........

tks for all that . my last ride was a boldor ... a dinosaur compared to this !! it will take a few k's to start getting used to but i am going to enjoy every minute

The 600RR's are pretty dam quick as you no have found out

Try this link for the manual mate .. when you click to download ..it loads into your browser for you to view then save and the file is big so be very patient .... could take 10 min on a slow connection..
