Hello, my Name is Bob I Joined the forum yesterday. I am 43 and have been riding bikes for 23 years. Had lots of different bikes over the years. Recently I got my hands on a 1987 1000F A bit old and untidy so am in the process of modifying it. I am looking forward to chatting with you guys and will share any useful info that I learnwhilst rebuilding this bike.I am a Toolmaker by trade andI nowown aToolmaking and Plastic injection moulding company in Brisbane so I have some very useful machines when it comes down to making new parts for bike for my bike.

Welcome Bob, we love the Aussies mate! Toolmaking huh? What kind of tools, I need to find a way to get a big locknut/ring thing back on tightly to my swingarm pivot bolt, but its at least 30-35mm. Anyway, if you can, post some pictures of Queensland. Good on ya for buying the 1000!
