FNG checking in...
hello all... new member just checking in. I recently sold an American Iron Horse Tejas, just tired of the high maintenance. I have been riding since the early 80's, but havent owned a "sportbike" since 92'. I borrowed a friends 900rr a couple weeks ago for a little joy ride and havent been able to get that damn bike out of my mind since
. Needless to say, Im hunting for "new to me" bike. Looking forward to tearing up some Florida back roads this summer, stay tuned...

Thanks all for the welcome...
That bike I had actually was a very smooth ride with that 280 rear tire but yeah, the polishing and the maintenance was a pain in the ***... I'm not necessarily dead set on the 900rr, the 929's, 954's are also on my radar. Let the hunt begin...

That's a sweet looking ride Sunking - not a sports bike but then each to his own.....
The 900 series RR's are great bikes and will be a whole new learning experience - especially in throttle control !
Welcome !

Thanks for the welcome again... and yes I know I have a major learning curve getting back on a sporty, they have changed considerably since the last one I owned, an fj1200. But I'm excited about it.!! The Tejas was honestly quite a hot rod with 117 inch motor. I never seriously raced it but I left a few behind between lights, and down the highway, on occasion...
