Default FNG am I

Fairly new guy that I am, I've more hours/miles onna back seat of a Honda ( Mother's'62 CUB ! )than I do up front. For Father's day, last, my wife and son got me an '06 CBR 1000 RR, ( later identified as "MAEVIS" ) in black. I have 2500 miles logged. Been rippin' accross the deserts, flyin' through The Rockies, and went tothe Grand Canyon! Tuesdays at "The Billet" are Albuquerque's Metric-Bike-nites and, thanks to Mr. Nicky Hayden, I got alot of interest in Maevis, and I think we represent well. At the local track ("SANDIA")I met some vintage riders on vintage bikes and I learned that " There areold bikers and bold bikers, but there are no old, bold bikers.".
I took a rider safety course and was the only sportbike in a class of Harley's and so I learned of astoic approach to this lunacy.
I've been made to feel welcome in our small and diversemotorcycle community, waving at each other just so.
Mywife is one fantastic lady, wouldn't you agree ?
Pax, G.

Umm, well you see I am an ancient fossil and so I used a camera with "film". I now own a digi-cam and am working towards an understanding of its functions. I've found the tutorials on this board, and will attempt to put together an Avatar, with your help. I was up all night, reading these posts and I had tears in my eyes from laughing so much ! Thanks for that, it's been a long, cold winter.

In the name of God, The Vengeful. My ride-buddies made me first compose, then sing, the following "Hip-Hop, R&B", all night long , up at the Jemez! Thanks alot, Y'all !! They said I have to post and print my composition.

Greetings I bid, my name iS QUID,

I keep reading, and I can't get even a hint of where to say what about me or mine.I don't think you really care about me or mine, because this board is about the motorcycles.I can only think to come here (FNG am I). If you want toknow anything, write it here, andI will tell you here. It was all I could do to get a picture of Maevis on here, so I will not have any more pictures. For me, now, is darkness.
