Default First bike ever!! I call her "Liz"

I bought my first bike today and I love it. I've always wanted a sport bike since I was a kid. It's a dream come true literally, it's everything I imagined it would be and more. Its a 95 600 F3 and she runs great, some minor problems that need addressed at some point but overall a great bike. She has been stretched and I know it effects the handling in turns but I can't tell any difference from riding my buddies bikes, but I never really tried to set any lap times with those either. I'll just take it easy in the turns I guess. Biggest problem is speedo doesn't work but the tach does. In 6th gear its almost like 5500 rpm is 55 mph when riding in traffic. Not a Hellboy fan but I am now!

Congrats! Guess only geeks would get that "Liz" reference, lol. Nice bike, really digging the wheels. It's been stretched, but doesn't look like it's really been dropped that much. It should only really affect the turn in and overall should give you some stability so maybe it's a good thing as it's your first ride. A new windscreen might help and I'd closely inspect those tires, they look a bit raggedy from here. Good luck and ride safe.

Thanks man, yeah only the geeks but thats ok, honestly I hadn't even watched the movie until I started thinking about buying the bike. I didn't like the gold wheels but they have grown on me, probably because I've fallen head over heels in love, but whatever. Windscreen is first on the list, and tires second only because of low funds. And yes sir on the safe part, I'm 33 and I think subconsciously I was waiting until I got a little older and more mature/responsible before I got a bike.

Welcome to the forums. Sounds like a nice bike, but the picture you posted is not working, I would like to see how it looks. How many inches is it stretched man? Have fun riding!
