Welcome to the forum.

F2 mirrors can be a real pain sometimes, easiest way to fix that is to fold the arm to where it's the loosest (usually all the way forward or back) and tighten them up, then they should stay put in adjusted position.

Thanks I'll give that a try.
I am some what mechanically inclined, but no NOTHING about bikes
