Default finally figured out pics...

I must be a newb...it took me 3 weeks to take pics and figure out how to attach them. Only have a couple for now, still trying to get some with the LED's, but they're always too dark. The bottom one is of some mesh inserts I made myself...I haven't decided if I like them yet, What do you guys think??

Anyway, here's my 2001 F4i, bought it brand new in '01 but had it garaged for about 3 years without riding, with the family and work and new house I didn't have the time or $$$. Just getting around to mods and stuff lately, so everyone's input would be appreciated.

Not my cup of tea, but interesting mods nonetheless

Sorry to say this, but I'm not diggin' the red mesh. But I do like how you're trying to integrate the red on the silver/black.

I'm not a fan of the mesh either. I can't imagine going three years without riding, that's just...wow.

Looks like you crashed into contructionfence netting and couldent get out.
I say ditch it.
Maybe, if it were black or silver (?)

...no, nevermind, ditch it.

Sorry man, I have to agree with Kodiak...I like how you're trying to integrate the red from the "i", but the red mesh is overkill...you'd be better offusing black inserts, once you add a contrasting color, you tend to make the bike look choppy and cheap. I have the exact same bike you haveand was thinking about the red rim stripes, but wasn't sure how they would look, so thanks for showing me...like that!
If you like the look of inserts, choose some that are black or silverthat actually blend in with the fairing color around them...it'll give you a sleeker, more polished look versus, the construction site fencing.

Thinking the same thing....maybe black would work.
3 years in the garage -- now that's amazing! Go have some fun, will ya?! [8D]

Thanks for all the input, everyone seems to be on the same page...I was beginning to think the same thing. I may try the different color though, it should be easy enough to paint them before I pull them off all together...
