Default Fenner

Hi all I'm Fenner,

Last owned a cbr1000fl about 13 years ago, loved it but moved on to the fabulous V4s. My current VFR is about pass 70k and it shows! I have a long commute mostly motorway so have decided it's time for another big CBR. Bought it sight unseen on eBay and collecting Sunday. It's a 95 bike with 37k, no tax or MOT and a couple of bits to sort out, not a problem for me as I am a mechanic in a Honda dealership and MOT tester. :-)

Hi guys, I am not sure but assuming she's an FR as reg is march 95. Got it home today and really happy, marks and cracks on bodywork but runs lovely and all critical systems are good. One knackered silencer gasket and no rear indicators, hardly the biggest problems! No T n T so haven't ridden it yet, very impatient :-D

First ride today after a bit of back garden patching up yesterday. Turns out on closer inspection the LH silencer is broken/rusted off at the sleeve :-/ so a bit of creative gun gum and ally tape work was required. We'll see how long that holds up! Meanwhile the hunt for a silencer begins. Front wheel bearings absolutely ruined, replaced during lunchtime and rear indics fitted. MOT passed we had a nice spin after work and all seems well. Loving this bike :-D
