Fargo, North Dakota checking in!
Hi guys -
after 10 years and moving from Europe to the USA, it seems that I'm finally getting a bike again.
Poison of choice: CBR 1000F. Checking her out tomorrow and if things work out, then I'll ride her home - a sweet 250 mile ride to get acquainted.

That poison will keep you alive and young mate LOL
The 1000F is a very nice choice .. What year ?
After 10 years off bikes, the ride home will be better than sex
Its mandatory for all 1000F members have to post pics
good luck and please take care on your first ride ...

Thanks for the welcome and the links.
She checked out just fine. Got a new battery and a new rear tire and i headed home with her. 250 miles at 40F - the last 30 miles, the sun went down, and so did the temp.
I suppose the only thing that got me through was the determination to get home and thaw.
I'll get her cleaned up in the coming days and then take some pics. She's mostly stock, but has a 4-1 exhaust as the only change.
CBR 1000F - 1990, red/white/blue 53k miles and got her for a decent price i think. The 250 miles proved that it's still a capable bike, no unexpected noises, rattling or vibration. Overall, i'm quite pleased.

Indeed. It was shot with my Blackberry, hence the miserable quality.
Once I'm done with the clean up operations, I'll unleash the real camera on her and take some decent images.
I'll drop them into my photo album then.
