Welcome to the forum!

Where are you from?

What is your riding experience?

Looking at the mockup of the tail, is that a front fender that you've cut down to make a tail?

south Indianapolis
Been riding for 3 years maybe?
And yes that front fender for my tail is off a 93 katana I do believe. Only thing that has the same lines as my tank.

Getting wiring all figures out. There is a **** ton. Oh and btw does anyone know if there is a tip over sensor on the 88?

There isn't a BAS on that model.

You could find one and hook it up. It's just a cutoff switch, you can hook it up right before your engine kill switch in the circuit.

I had a fuel pump that was clogged. A friend knocked it against my frames a few times (dire times) and it worked again. Yours may have been clogged over a long period of time and could be harder to clean, so if you want to rebuild it that's a possiblity but you might just want to get another one. It doesn't have to be the exact same one, just has to provide at least the same flow of gas. The size of the tubes may be different but your local hardware store or home depot will have what you need.

If it were me, I would at least try taking it apart and seeing if there was anything obvious that could be clogging it. I've never seen the inside of one of those things before, though, so I don't know how complicated it is. Probably not very.

Everything on this bike is black.

I like it. Looking forward to some progress!
