Default Ello! Just Picked this up!

Hey Guys!!! I Just Picked up a 1993 Honda CBR 900 RR Today. It has a Blown Casket. So it needs a Engine Case or find a way to repair it. Dont have a picture to show you guys right now. But i can get one.

Welcome to the CBR Forum,

The bird poop on the pillion seat is a nice touch!

So, head gasket, base gasket? Whick gasket is blown/leaking?

Can someone tell me what Case that is? Looks like the second One. Sorry Dont know much about Motorcycles really. Just starting to get into them.

Welcome to the forum.

You need to replace the motor. Find a good used one and put it in.
Unfortunately, there is no repairing that one.

Heck of an oil leak..........

Noisy too if you started it! I think she may have put a leg out of bed, which means that the internals will be toast as well.

You may be able to save the head if the piston(s) didn't connect the valves.

Don't listen to them...you can JB Weld that! LOL.

The others are right...it is easiest to just replace the motor. To repair that would mean new cases, gaskets, and perhaps even rings and bearings. That stuff starts to add up.

Anyone know where I could Look to Find a Good Used Motor? I Going to try calling Couple of Scrap Yard and Go to a Few to see if i can find any. Thanks
