Derek from Harleysville
Hello,
My name is Derek, I'm from Harleysville PA, and I graduated from Penn State with a B.S. in chemistry this past May. I own a '99 CBR 600 F4 which I am in the process of converting to a pseudo-f4i (for the fuel injection). Here are some photos of my F4 when I got it, after I spruced it up a bit, and some of the work I did:

^notice the super rusty headers and the missing plastic in between the lower fairings

^I did not buy a new gauge cover, I used Ardex detailing silicone. At the time I worked in the plant that canned that stuff. It works very well and smells excellent!

^Shimmed my valves (quite an adventure!)

Welcome, your exhaust pipes are so clean - you could cook and eat of them! Very nice work. So you want an injected F4? Please document your build in the F4 section, that's a very cool idea.
I've always liked the F4, it's one of the best looking banana seat bikes there is.

Haha thank you! They probably won't stay that way, but I do have stainless steel polish!
I will definitely be posting about the fuel injection conversion! I have several of the parts I need so far, so I will post soon!
