Better potential collector bike. A 1993 cbr 1000f or a 2001 1100xxx firebird?

 

Neither. But if I was a betting man, which I'm not, I go with the 1100xxx firebird.

Depends on why you want to collect. If you want to go the a vintage meet and let everyone ogle your pristine ride, Id go with the 93. If you want to add something a bit eclectic and maybe ride once in awhile for your own pleasure, the Blackbird.

Think about your own goals and which choice meets them best. Don't count on either making you a fortune. It's a liability on any balance sheet.
