Hello all. I'm on my third CBR1000F. The first was a 1991 Benetton and the second an FV model. Both great bikes. My latest is an immaculate red white and blue FK, which is probably my favourite. However, the seat colour is slightly wrong. Too light. Does anybody know of somewhere I can get the correct colour vinyl for a blue seat ? I think it has to be the stretchy type. I'm in the U.K. but would explore other areas too.

Check this out as an option? This seat was black and red, but the red was stained by something that could not be cleaned off of it.


Is this something available to you in the UK? I have used it on my bike seat and it looks good to me. I think they have other colors.

Thank you so much for your reply. That seat certainly does look good. The Dupli Color vinyl paint doesn't seem to be available over here for some reason. There is an option to buy from America but the cost is prohibitive to be fair. To land it here after shipping and duty would be about $90.

But dye / paint is a good idea and I shall explore that option now.
