CA resident with an '93 F2
Well this is my first bike ever and so far I love it!
I'm from San Diego, CA and practice in Tijuana every now and then. She has a ton of mile on her (over 50,000) but she runs great!
Ignore the man in the background!
I don't know why but I think I prefer the way she looks without fairings...

Welcome to the forums optytrex!
Nice looking bike, I wouldn't worry about the mileage Honda's are known for being built to last. My old accord had over 200,000 on her and she ran sweet as a nut.

welcome to cbrf optytrex. there's a pretty decent f2/f3 following on the forum. tons of great knowledge
I just recently got a 93' F2 as well! I love it, I'm going to order a whole new Repsol fairing kit, I have the fairings the guy gave them to me sanded down but I'm missing the left side tail fairing and the cowl piece. I can't find anyone with those pieces on craigslist in Miami lol and it would probably be too much to paint all the pieces and to order just those pieces separately.
Congrats on getting your first bike. Did you get any maintenance history w/ the bike? 50k, as long as its been maintained, it can still have a long life left to it.
No worries about it not having any fairings. Make it your own. If you like it that way, have at it. :-)
There's lots of great riding in SD. What areas have you ridden?
Also, have you taken the MSF course?
Good to have you w/ us. Welcome aboard.

Hey everyone!
Yea I've already taken the first MSF course, doubt I'll take the second one any time soon but my bro wants to take it so if I have time I'll take it with him. Because I haven't gotten around to getting insurance for it yet, I have only ridden in Tijuana (around Loma Bonita and the Periferico if anyone knows where that is) but after I get insurance I'll just use it for work and fun! I love riding it for no reason!
I don't actually have to much records for it but because it's my first vehicle then I'm doing all the maintenance and making an excel spread sheet on everything (as well as keeping my receipts if I buy anything) I already started documenting the first few points of maintenance in the Haynes that I bought for it!
That Gears of War sticker helps (one of my brother's touch not mine but I ended up liking it)
xD

Kudos for taking the MSF. :-) Always good to hear that from new riders.
Good to know that you're following & documenting your maintenance. Be diligent w/ it & your bike will thank you for it. ;-)
You're brave riding in Tijuana! Be safe out there.
