Bought my first bike! (Rhode Island)
Hello!
my name is Chris, and I bought my first bike last week! (1989 Honda CBR 600) I have a love for cars, but i felt the need to entertain my passion for bikes -- so I finaly bought one! I really know nothing about bikes, I feel rather stupid, but hopefully you guys can teach me a thing or two!
I am very hands on, and I install all custom work on cars - so I hope that once I learn enough about my bike I can start to attempt some custom work on them! is there a somewhere I can read up on my bike, or a FAQ or something? I am reading through some posts, and there are terms being used that I have no idea what they mean. what is a cane? lol - boy is my face red.

you must have been looking through forums on your bike, 'cane' is probably meant as 'hurricane', which is wha tyour bike is called. dont feel bad, everyone has to start from somewhere:-p good luck with your bike, im sure you'll enjoy it.
