Default Bought my first bike

actually, my girlfriend bought it for me. I need to get a ring on that finger, cause she's a keeper!

Bike is a 1997 Honda CBR F3 in red. only had 11,400 on the dial when I bought it last week. Taught myself how to ride a little bit ( never been on any sort of motorcycle) and then promptly took it apart and started replacing parts (bike had been tipped in the driveway by the last owner).

looking to do an F4i gauge swap this winter if I can find a set that doesn't totally tap me out..

MSF is definitely worth the time and money for.

Hope to see pics of ur F3 soon. I ride with a buddy who owns a Smokin Joe edition F3.

Keeper???...I'll say!!! ;-) Having a girlfriend/spouse that supports your interests & hobbies is a real plus...even better if you can share in those experiences.

The F3s are great old bikes. W/ proper maintenance, they'll still be on the road for a long time to come. Sounds like you are enjoying upgrading it & modding it. Hope all of those go well.

As said, the MSF Course is a good idea. Many of us here recommend taking it. If you haven't already checked into it, here's the link... Motorcycle Safety Foundation .

Good to have you w/ us. Welcome aboard.

When I just met my GF, I wanted some beer & she went to seven eleven and got me a 12 pack Corona, I'm already satisfy that's She's a keeper. I can't imagine GF getting me a bike? Your a very lucky guy!!! Don't take for granted...but of course your GF don't want you to get hurt riding bike either...so take full responsibility +1 on the MSF course! +1 for ATGATT!!

Ride safe and enjoy your CBR!!!

Nice!!! I like the decal that's placed above the front turn signal. :P If you're ever looking for fairings, eBay is usually the place to buy good 'ol used fairings. Believe it or not but all my fairings on my bike were bought through eBay and all of them were used except for the upper cowl before i got them painted. This is what the fairings used to look like:
